We arrived at Grandma and Grandpa's house Saturday after driving six hours and only stopping for an hour or so at the oh-so famous Outlet Mall in Palm Springs. We payed a visit to the Coach store and took advantage of the glorious sale they were having! That store was PACKED!! I have never seen a store so busy. I was surprised that a fight didn't break out for that last 50% off over sized handbag. What a site that would have been. Mom, Alissa, Kristen and I all got something. Cute Kristen was practically jumping up and down. She was so thrilled she was getting her first and very own Coach purse she had been saving up for.
On Sunday we joined Grandma and Grandpa at their ward for Sacrament Meeting. Grandma made us a big lunch and then we were off. We checked into our Villa around 4 o'clock. We had a beautiful view overlooking the golf course and a small piece of the ocean. After we had all unpacked and gotten situated we looked around a bit and then headed over to the grocery store. While shopping for the items we would need for that next week and for dinner the coolest thing happened. I was walking down to the isle my family was on and guess who walked right by me with an empty cart and cell phone to his ear? Kobe Bryant! I was so excited! I had just made eye contact with Kobe Bryant, one of the best basketball players ever! Wow. He is super tall! He was there for a while so we all got to see him.
On Monday we went to the beach and sadly enough all got sun burnt. Tuesday we hit up Knott's Berry Farm and had a blast there. We spent the rest of the week boogie boarding, building sandcastles, and playing volleyball at the beach. We also went shopping and visited the pool quite a bit. It was wonderful and relaxing!
We had to checkout Sunday at 10 so we drove back to Grandma's house. Later that night we said goodbye to Dad and took him to the airport. Monday we went to Disneyland with a sick little boy. Poor Chaz was such a trooper! He had allot of fun though and was even picked for the Jedi Master Training Camp that they put on in Tomorrow land. He is such a cute boy. We didn't find out that he had the German Measles until the next day. Mom and Grandma, the nurse, took good care of him and his spots were gone in no time.
We drove home on Friday and were happy to be in our own beds but missed having to ware a sweatshirt terribly! Thanks Mom and Dad for taking us on such a marvelous adventure!

Looks like a great summer vacation!
Cute pics! Who says a Coach purse can't buy happiness? I think it absolutely does. Super fun.
